Our founder
Letícia Bohn
A licensed attorney in Brazil, Letícia earned her law degree from the Federal University of Piauí School of Law. She was first introduced to the challenges of legal English and comparative law as a law student when she studied for a semester at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. However, it was while practicing law in São Paulo that Letícia redirected her career towards training legal professionals—from interns to partners at large firms and corporate legal counsel—in legal English skills.
An expert in legal English and holder of a TOLES Advanced Exam – Band 1 certificate, Letícia deepened her expertise as a visiting scholar at Duke University School of Law. Driven by her solid educational background and profound passion for teaching, Letícia founded The Legal English Hub to provide the Brazilian legal market with the specialized legal English training it needs and deserves.

As part of her research project as a visiting scholar at Duke University School of Law, Letícia Bohn carefully selected courses to audit with the development of our English for Corporate Lawyers program in mind. She engaged in courses such as Business Associations, Startup Law, Negotiation for Lawyers, and Mergers and Acquisitions. The discussions experienced at one of the top four law schools in the United States* have been integrated into our English for Corporate Lawyers program, ensuring that you engage in real, high-level legal discussions.

The English for Corporate Lawyers program offered by The Legal English Hub maintains a continuous focus on topics of direct interest to practicing corporate lawyers. Our weekly live classes use exclusive materials, allowing students to acquire specialized vocabulary and practice it through conversion exercises.
Learn from Authentic Documents
Our exclusive course material is developed from authentic documents, such as contracts and press releases drafted by native English-speaking lawyers, as well as documents available from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (EDGAR)
Pragmatic Approach
Acquire and practice specialized vocabulary in practical contexts, simulating real-life situations. Interpret and discuss clauses from Share Purchase Agreements, and be able to present a corporate restructuring in English.
