Why doesn't the Legal English for Corporate Lawyers Program have a defined duration?
Our program follows a continuing education methodology rather than a linear concept with a defined beginning, middle, and end. You will be exposed to topics in a circular manner but always with new approaches and class materials. Repetition—essential for learning any language—does not need to be and should not be repetitive. Therefore, our program revisits topics in various contexts (contract analyses, legal news, simulations of presentations and client meetings), allowing you to connect with other subjects of interest and naturally incorporate the technical terms learned into your vocabulary, gaining the confidence you desire.
Am I required to stay in the program for a minimum period?
No! Our sessions are contracted on a monthly basis, with no penalty if you choose not to continue with us or need to pause your learning and resume later.
Do I need to have advanced legal knowledge to participate in the classes?
No! Naturally, the more familiar you are with the class topics, the easier it will be for you to absorb the content of our program. But that doesn't mean you need to have advanced legal knowledge on any of the topics to participate in the classes. Our materials are structured to always provide an introductory conceptual approach before we move on to the analysis of documents or real cases. Additionally, you can rely on your classmates for support; in group classes, one of the best exercises for knowledge retention is precisely presenting topics using the legal English vocabulary acquired.
